The Educational Assistants' Bargaining Unit (EABU) The Educational Assistants' Bargaining Unit (EABU) represents over 900 full-time, half-time and casual Educational Assistants working in elementary schools, secondary schools and board office sites. We are employed by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board to work with Special Education Students and students at risk. We work at both integrated and specialized sites. We also work in an itinerant capacity assisting in the assessment for appropriate placement of students.
